Shar is a HRD dog. This is her first time on a boat with a diver in the water- who also has her toy. The objective for this exercise was to get the dog comfortable looking over the edge and searching (just with her eyes for now) for her toy.

Part of training a puppy/dog to bark reliably, is to train everywhere. If Leah ever becomes a HRD dog, it is good to get her comfortable on a boat as a puppy, when everything is still new and fun. When she’s older, she’ll be more relaxed on a boat because of these little outings now.
